Well, if you are in the road to install or upgrade to EBS 12.2.7 which is the latest release at this moment, please carefully consider the point mentioned in the note:

in the section 3.1.2.5
If Patch 25525148 (Rapid Install consolidated one-off bundle on top of startCD51) was not used while installing your Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 system, apply the patches in the following order:
PROGRAM : (/u02/ebstst/apps/fs1/EBSapps/appl/ad/12.0.0/bin/adzdoptl.pl)
TIME : Sat Jun 17 18:36:41 2017
FUNCTION: ADOP::GlobalVars::_GetMandatoryArgs [ Level 1 ]
ERRORMSG: Cannot identify any valid application tier nodes in

Well if the sequence is not maintained, then we can expect to get weird results such as while running adop cycle. The errors could be like

ADOP_VALID_NODES table. Ensure AutoConfig has been run on all nodes
And in order to resolve these errors, you need to have a valid backups in hand otherwise the installation process should start from scratch like which in my case had happened.
